Sciencity privacy policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Sciencity is an educational app for children. We built it so that it collects nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party software development kits. It does not ask for names, email addresses, location, photos, contacts, or any other personal information, and it makes no network requests while you use it.

Web hosting

When you open the web version, our web host records standard server logs, which include the IP address of the device loading the page. We do not use those logs to identify anyone, and the app itself sends nothing anywhere while you use it. The iOS and Android apps do not make network requests at all.

What stays on your device

The app remembers a few things on your device only: the age level you picked, which journey you were on, the stop you reached, the choices you made in each scene, and your quiz answers, so it can reopen where you left off. This never leaves the device. Deleting the app (or clearing site data in your browser) removes it.

Read-aloud

The “Read to me” button uses the text-to-speech voice built into your device. The text is spoken by your device’s own system.

Children

Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. The app contains no links to other websites, no purchases, and no ways to contact strangers.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the date above.
